This article describes a hotfix package that contains the latest fixes for Microsoft Application Virtualization (App-V) 4.6 Service Pack 1 (SP1). This hotfix package is dated April 2012. This hotfix package fixes the following issue: On a server that is running Windows Server 2008 R2, the Microsoft Application Virtualization service receives an exception and then crashes. After the crash, the service cannot be started because of the lost file system, and the server must be restarted.
