in Event Viewer Configurating App-V Client components Moderators: kirk, jur, kkaminsk Post a reply 10 posts • Page 1 of 1 Reply with quote Strange Random App-V errors in Event Viewer by WaterMark » Fri Jul 22, 2011 12:40 am We have an issue where a http://www.appvirtguru.com/viewtopic.php?t=4268 batch of event's are logged in the Application log in Event Viewer randomly. The Event ID's come in batches of 3-4 at a time (Event ID 3210, 5009, and 3008; sometimes we'll get 2012's as well). The errors seem innocuous enough since they don’t seem to be causing issues, but they'll randomly generate at all hours of the day, including off hours when no one is in the office and they're can be anywhere from 15 to application virtualization 30 in a row that are logged. What’s most strange is the error itself. Here is an example of one of the errors:The virtual application 'Avantis Asset Management 4.1.4.0' failed to launch for user SYSTEM with error 4513CDC-1C504A01-00031015.This is happening on Windows XP sp3 as well as Windows Vista PC's. We were a Softgrid 4.2 environment, still had issues, have now upgraded to 4.5 and the errors persist. We have disabled Anti-Virus on some systems to test, application virtualization client and the errors continued. The application that the 'SYSTEM' is trying to launch varies depending on what you have in cache. So I'll see some with the Avantis application like in the example above, but also for apps like Visio and one called GPS-Photo Link. I attached a screen shot of the app log in event viewer to give an idea of what the events look like. I may have left out a few details since we have been banging our collective heads against the wall for about a year, so please offer suggestions or ask questions if you have any thoughts on the matter.
