You seem to refresh the Publishing information via RTSPS, some of your packages stream via RTSP, some should use use HTTPS. Within the HTTPs URL, first the %SFT_SOFTGRIDSERVER% SYSTEM variable has not been given a value. Additionally, your https string contains a path of NFCVSMDOP.nuvera.com/Agile_2.sft and I asume that's not the right path either.. I have the Sequencer running on a Virtual Windows XP machine and I have the Client installed on a Windows XP laptop. So far this is my https://www.windows-noob.com/forums/topic/3950-virtual-application-will-not-load-on-client-computer/ issue, the client laptop sees the virtual application, but when I try to load it I get the attached error (client error). I just wanted to do a test run so I created the application just like the guy did in this video. http://technet.micro...indows/ff420327. The package was created and I imported it over to the App-V server no problem. Below is the sftlog file from today when I turned the computer on. Thanks in advance. Here is the sftlog file.[07/18/2011 07:30:52:562 SRVC WRN] {tid=B8C}--------------------------------------------------------Initialized client log (C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Microsoft\Application Virtualization Client\sftlog.txt)[07/18/2011 07:30:52:859 ???? Invalid" is fairly simple to fix, but why does it come up specifically on software that seems like it should be super simple to sequence? And http://csi-windows.com/blog/all/70-under-the-microscope/351-app-v-error-4615186-1f701639-0000010b-directory-name-is-invalid how do we prevent it in future packges? Let's dive https://deploymentdude.wordpress.com/2012/05/16/application-virtualization-error-package-requested-could-not-be-found-in-system-data-store/ in and put it under the microscope. Evidence of The Error First let's discuss what you'll see on the screen and in your logs verify that this is the problem you might be having. We are going to use application virtualization the example of the freeware version of Tree DB Notes. It is designed to be installed in a "Portable" mode - which allows it to run out of a folder with no registry entries or other Windows integration requirements - so you'd think it would sequence like a dream! Welcome the application virtualization to the real world. The error that presents on the screen is: The Application Virtualization Client could not launch TreeDBNotes 4 4.2.5.2 The directory name is invalid. Error code: 4615186-1F701639-0000010B In sftlog.txt ("Information" logging level) you'll find something similar to: [06/11/2012 16:05:13:521 SWAP ERR] {hap=1B:app=TreeDBNotes 4 4.2.5.2:tid=2F5C:usr=sanoyd} The client could not launch Q:\TREEDBNT.001\TreeDBNotes.exe (rc 1F701639-0000010B, last error 0). 2007 / MDT 2012 - DaRT 7.0 Remote Monitoring Integration… → Application Virtualization Error: Package requested could not be found in system datastore.. May 16, 2012 Leave a comment After setting up the APP-V Server, I attempted to test an application I sequenced to make sure all was well. I picked something simple like XML Notepad. Upon launch of the app on the client I would get error: 0000274d. No connection could be made because the Target Machine actively refused. Great article here: http://blogs.technet.com/b/appvcallback/archive/2010/08/03/app-v-troubleshooting-known-issues-and-general-resources.aspx so I restarted the AppV Mgmt Service. Then I got the following error: I checked my content share, and the OSD tags were not set to the correct ports: RTSP, 554. I correcte that and still, no good. Then I found the following: http://blogs.technet.com/b/aviraj/archive/2011/11/04/app-v-4-6-the-application-virtualization-client-could-not-launch-application-error-code-4604ee8-1690140a-20000194.aspx My Content path was set incorrectly in the registry. I corrected this and still no good. I finally checked the properties of the Package in the APP-V Mgmt Server and noticed my relative path was incorrect. I was specifying the Full Path by accident-oops. After fixing this, I stopped and started the APP-V Service. Refreshed the App-V Client, and boom. My Virtual XML Notepad 2007 streamed successfully to my client. Jose Share this:TwitterFacebookLike this:Like Loading...
