Solved Application Virtualization Error when opening an unrelated website Posted on 2011-06-10 MS Applications Virtualization MS SharePoint 1 Verified Solution 3 Comments 3,954 Views Last Modified: 2012-05-11 Experts - After updating the Microsoft Application Virtualization Client to version 4.6 SP1, now whenever I browse to our internal Sharepoint site, I get an App-V error. Sharepoint is version 2007. The error reads: The Application Virtualization Client could not launch the application you requested. The specified application does not exist. Check the name you specified, and then try again. Error code: 4615186-0B211004-00000A09 See the attached screenshot of the error as well. This makes no sense to me because I'm not trying to access an App-V application, I'm just opening a website. I tried adding the site to the trusted sites list, checking the file association with .aspx (the type of webpage for the Sharepoint site), and of course rebooting several times. Anyone have any ideas on what's wrong or how to fix? Thanks, Andrew 0 Question by:kearnsat Facebook Twitter LinkedIn Google LVL 1 Best Solution bykearnsat Thanks for the response. This actually did not fix it. When I unistalled the App-V client, I could access the Sharepoint site, but then when I restarted and re-installed I got the same error.
