0 comments Got an email from Mike: "I just rebooted my server and I've got error 1785 drive array not configured when logging on using the ILO to find out why my servers' down, any ideas?" "Sounds like either your array controller or disks may be at fault. I've had this before, try powering the server off and reseating the drives, that might get the server to work quickly for the time being. On a Compaq/HP server, (I think I'm right in saying) the array configuration information is stored on the disks and the array controller." I've had this happen to me a few times, power it off, reseat the drives, else call HP, they might have a magic way to fix it, maybe replacing the array controller, or system board or something. One thing to try is to reboot the blade/server and press f8 to try and see what the array controller sees/thinks is configured. Leave a Reply Cancel reply Your email address will not be published.
