Custom error pages and global error logging are two elementary and yet very confusing topics in ASP.NET MVC 5. There are numerous ways of implementing error pages in ASP.NET MVC 5 and when you search for advice you will find a dozen different StackOverflow threads, each suggesting a different implementation. Overview What is the goal?
