I've searched a number of websites and message boards and all have told me the problem is with Google Desktop and that if I uninstall this program, the problem will be resolved. I have tried unsuccessfully to uninstall Google Desktop. I have tried to uninstall the program from the START-ALL PROGRAMS-GOOGLE DESKTOP-UNINSTALL menus options, and all this does is bring up a box window box for about one second, then the box disappears- without uninstalling the program. I have also tried to uninstall the program thru the add/delete programs menu in the
