Recently i brought a ATI 3650 card, and i haved installed cat 8.5 driver. One day my CS source has crashed due to some sort of driver error, so i took a look inside the event viewer and i found this: Code: source:ati2mtag event:43037 categary:DAL The description for Event ID ( 43037 ) in Source ( ati2mtag ) cannot be found. The local computer may not have the necessary registry information or message DLL files https://forums.lenovo.com/t5/ThinkPad-T61-and-prior-T-series/Ati2Mtag-error-into-event-viewer/td-p/3190 to display messages from a remote computer. You may be able to use the /AUXSOURCE= flag to retrieve this description; see Help and Support for details. The following information is part of the event so i uninstalled 8.5 driver and try with the omega drivers, but the error still appeared. Any solution? __________________ 05-26-2008, 09:50 PM #2 (permalink) KSoD Call me Mak or KMod Emeritus Join Date: Sep 2004 Location: C:\ Posts: 35,647 Re: http://www.techist.com/forums/f77/ati2mtag-error-found-event-viewer-175983/ ati2mtag error found in event viewer!! Uninstall the drivers again but run Driver Cleaner Pro to remove all traces of the drivers and reinstall them. Should be just like a fresh install with the drivers without any corruption from previous drivers. Driver Cleaner Professional download from Guru3D.com __________________ __________________ I do not accept support questions via EMail, PM, IM or my G+ page! Might have to contact ATi and let them know. See if they got any Beta drivers in the works. __________________ I do not accept support questions via EMail, PM,
