A separate window opens up but it's a blank screen. This error pops up when I tried to open system restore program thru another way. I'm also having issues with a javacsript error when I try to go onto certain sites but I checked and I do have javascript enable on IE. Not sure if this is related to each other or not. These problems started after I accidentally unplug my power cord so my computer was shut down inproperly. I have attached the screen captures for review. Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks. 'Start'>'All Programs'>'Accessories'>'System Tools'>'System Restore'. This opens the Wizard. Make sure the 'Restore My Computer To an Earler Time' button is checked>'Next'. Select a date/time in bold from the calendar before the problem started and follow the prompts. The pc will reboot. Has this fixed it? 2. If not. Turn off the pc. Turn on the pc and tap F8 as it boots. You will be faced witha short menu of options. Using the up/down arrow keys on your keyboard select 'Last Known Good Configuration' and click Enter. The pc will reboot. Did this help? 3. If you have a problem running 'System Restore' from your usual desktop screen follow the instructions in 2 above but select 'Safe Mode' option from the menu and click enter. The pc will boot in 'Safe Mode, try and run 'System Restore' in this mode. Regards. I know everything about nothing, nothing about everything and precious little about the bit in between.
