And how important is Building Walls in the overall processing Catchment delineation? Thanks for any advise.-Swamy.OutcomesVisibility: Arc Hydro4054 ViewsLast modified on Jun 21, 2010 7:58 AMTags:solutionsContent tagged with solutionsarc_hydroContent tagged with arc_hydroThis content has been marked as final. All started happening after I began incorporating Sink Pre-screening. Stream slope assignment worked prior to incorporating Sink Pre-Screening; now it doesn't work. Now my Build Walls step is not working, no matter how many times I start over fresh.Using Win 7 Pro 64-bit w/a Core 2 Duo 3GHz and 4GB ram. Any ideas on the errors?Like • Show 0 Likes0 Actions bdbacca Feb 12, 2011 5:07 PMI had the same problem. I ran the program without a hitch until the final steps of terrain preprocessing and the walls became streams. I deleted everything and started over and it would not let me build walls again. I tried uninstalling & reinstalling and starting from completely un-worked data but nothing. If anyone figures it out, I would love to know the trick! I have a watershed delineation provided by the client but it doesn't match up properly with my end result before basin processing. :shrug:Like • Show 0 Likes0 Actions cdartiguenave-esristaff Aug 17, 2011 2:21 PMYou probably have a corrupted file in your window temp. KCGIS Center Education Update: March - April 2005 Schedule Chang es Messages sorted by: [ date ] [ thread ] [ subject ] [ author ] Hello, Does anyone have experience implementing the ArcHydro tools/data model? I'm working on implementing ArcHydro for the John Day Basin in https://geonet.esri.com/thread/7483 northeast OR and am hoping to attach a MS Access stream temperature database to the resulting stream network. Terrain processing proceeded with no problems, however, I ran into a "-2147215869; Automation Error" when trying to run the "Hydro Network http://mailman13.u.washington.edu/pipermail/uw-gis-l/2005-February/001840.html Generation" tool in ArcHydro. The ArcMap project has drainage line, drainage point, and catchment feature classes with the appropriate attributes (GridID, HydroID, NextDownID, and JunctionID). HydroEdge and HydroJunction feature classes were created with all appropriate attributes, however, there are no features in either feature class. From reading the ESRI user forum, it seems that automation errors are associated with VB scripts. Any suggestions? The DEM used is lidar derived and has a 5 ft resolution. The general workflow I am flowing is Sink evaluation Sink Selection (to give a minimum drainage area) Fill sinks (using the deranged polygon from the sink evaluation and the 'Use IsSink field' option). When I run the fill sinks tool I receive the following error: System.Runtime.InteropServices.COMException (0x80041098): ERROR 010429: Error in GRID IO: MtVatBldNew: Value range for c:\users\user\appdata\local\temp\arcc79c\ah2014~4\tmp2675 exceeds 100000 . I thought this was telling me that the DEM was too large in size, so I tried running the tool again with several subsets by using a polygon to determine the processing extent. This results in the same error
