I get this only when running the program as an executable..... Never in Visual Basic... I've isolated it to one routine, but can't figure out what this message is trying to tell me... I trap the error now, and the program seems to continue to work just fine after the error... http://www.vbforums.com/showthread.php?387765-RESOLVED-Automation-Error-2147417848-The-object-invoked-has-disconnected-from-its-clients but I really think I should track it down! Only way to find it, is writing tracking code, what writes all to the logfile. oh1mie/Vic Feb 16th, 2006,09:58 AM #3 tward View Profile View Forum Posts Thread Starter Hyperactive Member Join Date Apr 2004 Posts 342 Re: Automation Error -2147417848 The object invoked has disconnected from its clients I am connected to an Access Database.... I'll do some logging to see if I can track it down.. Problem, of course, is that it is not consitent at all! I'm sure it will end up being something stupid that I am doing, but I just don't see it right now.... Didn't know if anyone else had any insight! We do not know why then, we only get this error-message. And if a scan fails, a sensor in automation error the PRTG will always go into warning and then error state if the next scan also fails. Because, then in terms of facts the sensor is not able to work, and this is actually a faulty state. Best Regards.
