having trouble for days, and now we've finally gotten a solid report to help us out. Anybody know what DVD Read Error (324) means and how to fix it? am very impressed with the amouint of knowledge you people have and also the way you people have helped so many people by solving there problems.. This is the reason y i chose this forum to get the solution https://gbatemp.net/threads/dvd-read-error-324-from-backup-launcher.120069/ to my problems My Wii console information - Firmware Version - 3.2u, I got it Soft Modded and I have following options on my wii menu page - The Homebrew Channel Beta 7, Backup Loader 0.3 (Wii.gator3), Geckos (Wiird/RF beta editon). Now coming back to the point, I have downloaded iso's of 3 games and have burned them using nero 7 & imgburner 2.2 with my Sony DVD RW AW-G540A ATA (Model No) DVD writer and i have used WriteX http://forums.afterdawn.com/threads/wii-error-002-how-to-resolve-this-problem.688580/ DVD+R Blank Media to burn these images. When i load a burnt disk in my back up loader after reading for few seconds it gives me an error message which is not readable as it gets overlaped but i could manage to understand few words like DVD CONTENT ERROR and after few seconds it goes back to the wii gator menu page. till now i have already wasted 5 DVDs as i was hit n trying evrything possible but now no other option is left, so need your help friends. I hope i'll get a response soon. You also should use better media. Cheap media can cause read errors. Also there is one thing which I forgot to mention that I bought few p***ted games from the market and they work well with the backup loader channel/wii gator3, So do i still need cIOS installer or it's it already installed. i

ALTERNATIVELY you can use https://www.reddit.com/r/wii/comments/jz0md/error_002_on_some_of_my_wii_game_discs_how_to_fix/ the IOS15toIOS16patcher in this zip to patch a copy of IOS15 extracted from a game iso (using wiiscrubber) from IOS15 to IOS16, therefore bypassing the need to download "Wii Backup Disc v1.3". backup launcher Thanks for this davi92? Step 1 Lets assume you have already updated your Wii to the latest Firmware. 3.4 Step 2 Install the ‘Homebrew Channel' onto your Wii if you dont have it already (see below) Step 3 Put the contents of this zip onto your SD Card. Step 4 Using the ‘Homebrew Channel', open ‘WAD Manager 3'. Step backup launcher 0.3 5 Press ‘A' on the WiiMote once. The Wii should detect a SD Card. Press ‘A' again to see a list of WADs on the SD Card. Use the ‘D-Pad' to select ‘IOS16-64-v257-prod.wad'. Press the '+' to install the WAD. Once it has installed the WAD, press the ‘Home' button to restart you Wii. Step 6 Using the ‘Homebrew Channel', open ‘Custom WM'. Now using the same method as in ‘Step 5', install the ‘cios_fix.wad'. Once it has installed the WAD, press the ‘Home' button to restart you Wii. Step 7 Using the ‘Homebrew Channel', open ‘IOS Downgrader'. Just follow the instructions and wait until it finishes installing the necessary IOSs. Step 8 Using the ‘Homebrew Channel', open ‘Install Shop IOS51'. Say ‘Yes' to installing the ‘IOS51' and ‘Yes' to patching a fix but ‘No' to the ‘Wii Shop Channel' (it shouldn't matter if you install but it won't make any difference). Step 9 Using the ‘Homebrew Channel', open ‘WAD Manager 3'. Step 10 Now you should be able to install WADs. Try installing the ‘WAD MANAGER V3.wad' (use this channel to install any WADs in the furture) and ‘Wii Gator.
