If i try using ettercap GUI for this it closes when i chose ath0, whereas it works fine when i choose eth0. If i use ettercap command line i get the following root@slax:~# ettercap -Tq -M arp /192.168.0.1/ /192.168.0.2/ -i ath0 ettercap NG-0.7.3 copyright 2001-2004 ALoR & NaGA Listening on ath0... For example if i where to connect wirelessly through my laptop to a network where every other user was using a wired connection is there a way i could use arp poisoning to sniff http://www.backtrack-linux.org/forums/archive/index.php/t-3351.html there data? If anyone can do this, or thinks its possible i would be greatful for the response. Thanks. - Edit I am using the beta version of backtrack. Also i can do this with ease using a wired connection, i would just like to know if its possible and how to do it using wireless. I have check 0.9.10 installed with MacPorts. cmake fails with: -- Found PkgConfig: /opt/local/bin/pkg-config (found version "0.28") -- checking for module 'libcheck' -- package 'libcheck' not found -- checking for module 'check' -- found check, version 0.9.10 -- Found LibCheck: /opt/local/lib/libcheck.dylib CMake Error at cmake/Modules/EttercapLibCheck.cmake:231 (message): Could not find librt, which is required for linking tests. Call Stack (most recent call first): CMakeLists.txt:104 (include) As far as I can tell, librt is a thing that some Unix distributions have, but OS X does not. Is librt really needed to test ettercap? Version 0.8.0 did not check for librt. LocutusOfBorg commented Dec 6, 2013 I don't know, can you try to remove the FATAL_ERROR and see if it builds? I can push an exception, it is just for linking pourposes, maybe it isn't really needed LocutusOfBorg referenced this issue Dec 6, 2013 Merged Fixing issue #416 #417 LocutusOfBorg commented Dec 6, 2013 can you please try 417? ryandesign commented Dec 6, 2013 Thanks, with that patch, cmake and make work fine and make test says: Running tests... /opt/local/bin/ctest --force-new-ctest-process Test project /opt/local/var/macports/build/_Users_rschmidt_macports_dports_net_ettercap-ng/ettercap/work/build Start 1: tes
