Why? 1.50 patch is incremental patch to 1.40 and if you install it without 1.40, you will not get your 2142 working. So install 1.40 first and first after that you can install 1.50 patch.

He has it downloaded, he should be on 1.50, when he wants to patch he is asked to battlefield 2142 run it as an administrator, he does, then there is that loading circle of windows 7 for a brief moment and then.... nothing, nothing happens. Any tips?
