I installed 306.81 WHQL and deleted my fsx.cfg. When I pressed the FSX.EXE on the taskbar I received the following

to the crash. I tried using the FSX.EXE in the FSX root folder and reverted to an older driver and 306.23 WHQL but I received the same error message. I deleted the shader folders in my AppData\Local\Microsoft\FSX folder thinking that the shaders need to be rebuilt. I use Mogwaisoft Shade. I installed the new driver as per the manufacturer and even tried using Driver Sweeper in safe mode but I just can't get the FSX.cfg to rebuild with this fsx graphics settings new card. I would appreciate any feedback, thanks. I had heard that people were putting in new shaders into FSX (I use P3D). From what I have heard, if you have older graphics cards, they cannot handle some of the new Shaders. Hope you can work your way back to where you were. lionheart, 18 Oct 2012 #2 arno Administrator Staff Member FSDevConf team Resource contributor Joined: 28 May 2004 Messages: 23,534 Country: Hi, Does it work with just a default fsx installation?
