Some people like them. I dont care for them. Go to your .minecraft folder and then to options.txt and set advanced open gl to false. If that fails just delete the file and it should be false be default. If that doesnt help then I don't know what I can do to help you. Your processor is a single core 3 ghz it certainly isnt that. Raedon is an ok graphics card series, but they are typically too bulky and kinda flakey so I doubt thats the issue. That leaves java. So update it or downgrade it to a po

I will be adding more content soon, but these instructions http://www.minecraftforum.net/forums/archive/legacy-support/1841789-freezes-then-black-screen and tutorials should be enough to fix any black screen issue. In this Video Tutorial you will learn how to "Force Update" your Minecraft, and how to "Empty/Clear the mods and config" folders. Forcing Updates to Minecraft If you are having issues after a reinstall, or are having other client issues, you can try doing a forced update. Open the Minecraft client Click on options (directly above Login) Click on "Force Update!" https://www.skydaz.com/fixing-minecraft-black-screen-how-to-clean-and-reset-minecraft/ Click on "Done" Log in to the game, and the client will re-download the game files Clearing Mods and Config Folders If you are having issues with mod conflicts there are two options and the easy one is to clear the mods and config and start fresh again. Open the Minecraft client Click on options (directly above Login) Click on blue link right below "Force Update" - (This will open the minecraft folder and you will see the mods and config folders here.) Click on "mods" (Do the same for "config" folder) Delete all the files in this folder. Re-installing Minecraft One of the common ways to fix an ailing Minecraft installation of various bugs is to simply re-install it. Removing the launcher itself (the file you downloaded) however will not remove Minecraft. The steps below should work for most people. Important step: Be sure to do a forced update if you still have issues. Re-installing Minecraft on Windows Navigate to your Application Data Folder: %AppData% Double Click the .minecraft folder Copy out the saves folder to a different location Go back one directory (to where you can see .minecraft) Drag the .minecraft folder into the trash Start the Minecraft.exe file to re-download Minecraft Close Minecraft when you reach the title screen Copy the saves folder back into the new .minecraft folder. You can safely overwrite any dat

After a hard crash, no bluescreen is shown, but a minidump is left, citing "Unknown hardware fault", I'll attatch a few to this post Both my graphics card and processor rarely go above 40 degrees C and my HDD never goes >40, so I very much doubt this is a heat issue. However, since AMD drivers are a bit rubbish at the best of times, the fan on my GPU would NEVER go above 40% unless I activate my own custom settings using MSI afterburner's fan speed controller. I have never overclocked any part of the system. I replaced my GPU half a year ago to no effect. I have run several hardware testing programs, FurMark, HotCPU tester Pro and so on, none of which seem to cause the computer to crash, no matter how long they are left on, even when all components are running at around 70 oC I have run the maximum settings on windows memory tester, no errors. I have tried every possible combination of uninstalling/installing AMD graphics drivers, nothing seems to help. Based on the above, I am imagining that there is something wrong with my motherboard, the connection between all my hardware, as the PC only seems to crash when everything is in use simulta
