Brother Mfc Error 41

you cuss me out, and please think it over before you reply. You didn't lose $149, because you did get some use out of the printer. If you look at your average cost of ownership based on
Brother Printer Error 41
your original purchase price, without figuring in how much you spent on the extra ink, brother mfc 4820c errore 41 you spent $7.15 per month for the printer. If I assume the extra ink cost you $80, then your average cost of ownership was brother mfc error codes under $11 per month. So put it in perspective, if you rented or leased a machine it would cost you a lot more than that, and you'd still have to buy ink. When you buy a cheap machine, and

$150 is cheap for a multifunction, then you should expect two years service at best, and if it fails at 13 months that's what you paid for.My advice is to check and see if you have a credit card that doubles manufacturers warranties, many VISA cards do, and buy your computers, etc. using it. Then put the receipt in an envelope and tape it to the cover of the machine.People who bought the HP OfficeJet

V40's when they cost $250 got several years of service from their machines, many are still running. Then HP got competitive with Brother, et al, and made a cheaper V40 that sold for about $150, and most of them failed after about 13 months of use.In short, when we demand cheap machines, and only buy cheap machines, then the OEM's are going to make cheap machines to keep us happy.Stephen by Stephen on Sep 3, 2005 at 8:33pm Add comment Please sign in to comment interesting philosophical debate. I agree with your general theory sincet we purchased a $200 machine with the belief that it would work perhaps for a 18, maybe 24 months, only to come to the quick and sad realization that we bought a piece of crap from an un-ethical company... I bought into the local advertising hype about Brother office equipment and "projected" that image onto the home-office equipment... bad move on my part. I bought the new MFC in late November, and here it is, not even 8 weeks later and the machine has succumbed to the dreaded "error -41". It did go through about 3 sets of ink cartridges, so that must be about 150 printed pages (and I'm being generous) giving me a cost of ownership somewhere around $2-$2.25 per printed page. I could have hired a typist
still under warranty if the refurbished or new machines were suppose to have a new designed printer head. I myself first purchased my 3220C in Dec 2003.In July drum error brother mfc 9125cn 28 2004 I was given a replacement due to error 41. Now a little

over 6 months have passed and the replacement is doing the same thing. Now if Brother just sent out another machine without drum error brother mfc 7840w fixing the known problem (knowing it would re-occur)wouldn't we have some recourse hear other than taking it to a repair shop? This product in DEFECTIVE and they know this. Please if anyone has purchased a new http://www.fixyourownprinter.com/posts/23050 print head and still has the old one could you check to see if there are any noticeable change in design. I myself have filed a complaint with www.bbb.com and hope all that have had this problem will follow suit. Brother needs to answer to this problem and recall all of these machines or replace with ones that have newly designed printer heads. Even if your machine is out of warranty they http://www.fixyourownprinter.com/posts/27620 have extended the printer head replacement warranty from 9mo to 24 mo but what good is this if it is replaced with the same one. It will do the same thing. Please all do not let Brother get away with this. COMPLAIN, COMPLAIN, COMPLAIN Respond to this 1 I am happy to say that my HP is great... If you have a brother, throw it out,Don't put another dime into it.... Brother not only sux,the print quality sux too... The time it take to copy a print is 3 times as long as my HP,another good reason to shitcan the Brother...I'm not bashing Brother,Brother is :) :) :)Geo... by unknown on Sep 6, 2005 at 8:00pm Add comment Please sign in to comment 1 I just joined so I hope I won't offend by asking you about a different model. I have been trying to find out what kind of a malfunction machine error 76 is for my older DCP 1200. I really like that machine and when it died I just hung on to it with hopes I might be able to have it repaired or repair it myself. Do you know anything about that error message? Thanks in advance. Please excuse if not appropriate.Docvicki by docvicki on Sep 18, 2005 at 12:45pm Add comment P
