8 months ago I just installed Buddy Press through Blue Host. I was experimenting with the basic theme. Things seem to work well. Then I have tried install other Buddy Press themes and every time I go to activate it in WP, I get this error message: Fatal error: Cannot redeclare bp_dtheme_ajax_querystring() (previously declared in /home1/laozenco/public_html/wp-content/plugins/buddypress/bp-themes/bp-default/_inc/ajax.php:20) in /home1/laozenco/public_html/wp-content/themes/custom-community/_inc/ajax.php on line 63 I have deleted Buddy Press and uploaded it again several times. https://buddypress.org/support/topic/fatal-error-cannot-redeclare-bp_dtheme_ajax_querystring-in-bp-themesbp-default_incajax-php-on/ I have no clue what to do here. But if you're using Custom Community theme, you don't need to install BP template pack. Use BP Template Pack only when you choose a WP Theme.
