I edited for 15 minutes and I just got the OUT OF MEMORY message once. No Bus Errors so far. Then I connected my external Lacie drives via firewire 800 instead of the eSATA Controller. and it seemes that this helps a little. This can be caused by the presense of Avid Projects or Shared Avid Projects folders on the root level of any attached drives or workspaces. Project folders should not be placed on the root levels of drives. Creating a new folder to place these folders in can resolve this issue. You may experience bus errors on Media Composer 5.0.3 if the Bin setting are set to load master clips into pop-up monitors. Disabling pop-up monitors can resolve this issue.
