exploring it, and it turns out that you don't really need to reinstall MSVCR80.dll if you want to get the game running. Here is a list of steps to install/reinstall the game:Step 1: Slide in CD 1 into CD/DVD drive.Step 2: If the game is on Autorun, just exit the MSVCR80.dll problem popup. Anyway, go to My Computer.Step 3: Right-click on the COD2CD1 icon, then click Explore.Step 4: Double-click on Setup.Step 5: Double-click on rsrc.Step 6: Double-click on fscommand.Step 7: Double-click on FTInstall. That should do it. That should bring up the install screen and follow the instructions. Once you're out of the game but want to play again, put in CD 1 and ignore the MSVCR80.dll problem popup, just double-click the game icon on your desktop or wherever you have it.
