After having thrown Call of Duty 4 (PC) I see the error message: my video card is Nvidia GeForce 5700 FX Even if not supported, I have played in HalfLife2 episode 2 and Portal, Painkiller call of Overdose ...); It's not due to the lack of support for PS 3.0. It is because the stupid Nvidia driver doesn't have OpenGL 2.0 support. Separate Alpha Blending is an OpenGL 2 feature. If somehow it could be enabled from within the driver the game would work perfectly. I played it on a Radeon 9550 AGP 8X 256 MB, which is much call of duty inferior to 5900 XT from the processing power point of view. It has, however, the Catalyst drivers which offer native support for OpenGL 2 and thus, separate alpha blending. solution? What should I install driver? thanks Last edited by jei59; 11-18-2007 at 10:56. jei59 View Public Profile Find all posts by jei59 (#2) David16k Maha Guru Videocard: XFX Geforce 7600GT XXX 256MB VIVO Processor: AMD64 3700+ San Diego Mainboard: MSI K8N Neo4-FI Memory: 1024 MB DDR PC3200 dual-channel Soundcard: Creative Soundblaster Audigy PSU: Antec 550 Watt 11-18-2007, 11:02 | posts: 2,210 | Location: The Netherlands You could use RivaTuner to force a game to run an older version of OpenGL. That might work.
