4, 2014 NAV 2013 NAV 2013 R2 Upgrade Error - Data Source name not found and no default drivers specified. Hi all, I am in process of upgrading a database from NAV 2009 SP1 to NAV 2013 R2 in one step. Earlier the One Step was not working for me but i hope http://saurav-nav.blogspot.com/2014/04/nav-2013-nav-2013-r2-upgrade-error-data.html this time i will be able to complete it. Keeping my finger crossed. During upgrade step 1 i faced a issue that i would like to share with you all. After Step 1 of Data Migration when i tried to open the database in NAV http://forum.mibuso.com/discussion/345/odbc-navision-financials 2013. NAV 2013 gave me below error - Error: [Microsoft][ODBC Driver Manager] Data Source name not found and no default driver specified. State ID: IM002 Reason for Error - The SQL Server Native Client was not installed. Resolution - 1. Open the product DVD of NAV cannot generate 2013. 2. Navigate to the Pre- requisites Component Folder. 3. Open Microsoft SQL Server 2012 Express. 4. Install the sqlncli64 (Native Client for SQL) as shown below. I hope if someone will face the issue, will be able to resolve same using above steps. Will keep you updated if the Upgrade Process from NAV 2009 SP1 to NAV 2013 R2 is completed. Wish me luck. Using the C/ODBC driver I get this error: ODBC error: [Navision Software a/s][Navision Financials ODBC Driver]ISAM Error I receive this error when trying to connect to the live database on the server. In the configuration screen for the C/ODBC Driver if I click on the company button I get this error: S0000 [Navision Software a/s][Navision Financials ODBC Driver]The TCP/IP connection's 'host' is not answering (TCP/IP error ECONNREFUSED).You can see how to make changes in your 'hosts' and 'services' filed in the documentation for the network. Contact your system manager if you need assistance. I have a backup of the database on my laptop and don't have a problem connecting to this database. I also find that using the SQL Server driver I can connect but when I do I cannot gain access to all tables. I get the following error on some tables- ODBC error:[Microsoft][ODBC SQL Server Driver][SQL Server]Could not find server 'CMCAustralia' in sysservers. Execute sp_addlinkedserver to add the server to sysservers and some of the other tables don't have all of their fields listed. Such as the GL Account table which does not list fields such as date filter, balance at date, net change. Any help with this would be greatly appreciated. 0 Comments brucem Member Posts: 86 2001-01-25 >>S0000 [Navision Software a/s][Navision Financials ODBC Driver]>>The TCP/IP connection's 'host' is not answering (TCP/IP error >>ECONNREFUSED).You can see how to make changes in your 'hosts' >>and 'services' filed in the documentation for the network. >>Contact y
