Alpine Cd Player Cd Error
I have had my Alpine CDE-9881 cd player for 2 years now. I rarely ever play cd's from the head alpine head unit wont play cd unit and it has had a cd in it for at least a year without me ever playing the cd or ejecting the cd. A couple of days ago I wanted to play

a cd in it so I ejected the old cd. The old cd (the same one that has been in the head unit for a year without me touching it) ejected fine. So I go to put the new cd in the head unit and the cd wouldn't "feed" into the player. When I tried forcing the cd into the slot it took a lot of alpine mp3 cd player force just to move it an inch into the head unit. So I tried pushing the eject button again to see if it would let me insert the cd and the display read "Error". When I switch sources from the radio to the cd it still would only read Error and still won't let me insert a cd into the Alpine head unit. I do have a 4 year warranty for the cd player but I don't want to go through the hassle of pulling it out of my Jeep, finding the box, driving to Best Buy, and waiting to get a new one. If anyone knows any way to fix this problem or knows anything about this problem I would greatly appreciate their help.
