I just bought a 2007 Ford Fusion not more than 3 weeks ago and upon attempting to load my in-dash CD changer for the very first time to use it, on loading the last disk, I got an error message before the system advised me to cd player load the disk and the whole thing has locked me out. I try to eject the other disks and they won't eject, they won't play, and I cannot load the last one. I get LOAD ERROR, EJECT ERROR and CD ERROR any time I attempt to do anything. I put in only store-bought CD's too. The dealer told me that these changers take a beating, however, this is a brand new car and the CD player has never been used before. This is the very first attempt and it fails. So, cd player eject for them to say that, I disagree with them. Has anyone else had this problem with these Audiophile radio/6CD changers and how many times did you have to replace your radios? I have a bad feeling about this after digging up a bit of research over this weekend and I kind of get the feeling that this car will be going back to the dealer again in the near future for the same exact issue again, after they replace the original radio. If they fail that easily, who is to say that it is not going to do that same thing again? Comments? Solutions? I have a 6-year 72k warranty, so it is covered, but that is not the point. I'm almost prepared to get used to that fact and the radios will be getting replaced often. › See More: 6-CD Changer Issue - LOAD, EJECT, CD ERRORS! kind of a dumb question but I just got a CD stuck in my car's stock CD player. It wont play or anything. The cd player is pretty new and it is probably fine but how should I get the CD out? I dont want to pay a fortune to have it taken apart at the dealership. Please advise if you can. And just in case it helps, this is the stock cd player on a 2001 Jeep Wrangler. Thank you so much for your time. Have a great day! Gregory Stern Silver MemberUsername: GmanMt. Pleasant, SC Post Number: 307Registered: Dec-03 Posted on Friday, March 19, 2004 - 15:45 GMTThis is why God created paper clips. On some cd players there is an small hole to the side of the cd opening. Poking this indent with the paper clip while pressing the eject sometimes works. If your car doesn't have this feature, you just have to poke the paper clip into the mechanism opening and risk damaging the cd to get it out. You either press the cd up or down while pressing the eject. Otherwise, go to the dealership and ask them how to take it out. I have only had this problem when someone else made me a cd and put a paper label on it. This is generally a bad idea, particularly for car insert cd players. The extra thickness from the paper label causes the problems you mention and makes one search the desk drawer for paper clips! BrittanyUnregistered guest Posted on Wednesday, April 07, 2004 - 02:12 GMTI just got a used 2002 Hyundai Elantra, and the CD player will not take in any CDs. It just makes a spinning noise and spits the CD back out. I really do not know anything about cars, and would really appeaciate any help! I had to use a small pair of needle nose slim tip pliers. It damaged the CD, (not the unit) which was already a gonner. So be careful inserting those tweezers or needle
