I'd reboot the machine and start over. Also, you might need to clean your computer of previous - unsuccessful - installation. Perhaps emptying the directory might be enough. If not, clean the registry as well. Be careful if you start doing this, especially if there are working Oracle products installed on your computer. You might mess everything up!
