Re: Issues with View Horizon client for Android and iOS djfersa Nov 25, 2014 6:42 AM (in response to mpryor) Yes, we replace the certificate for a known CA (DigiCert) which make me wonder why is not working with the mobile devices. Re: Issues with View Horizon client for Android and iOS SabrinaHou Dec 14, 2014 11:07 PM (in response to djfersa) There are 2 reasons which may block iOS/Android client to connect to View Connection Server.1. The inputted View Connection Server name doesn't match the host name which is assigned in certificate.2. The certificate file imported on View Connection Server doesn't include the entire cert chain. If the View Connection Server cannot return the full cert chain, the iOS client cannot verify it.Please try below command to print the cert chain. Make sure it contains entire cert chain.openssl s_client -showcerts -connect [ViewConnectionServer:443]Please follow up blow steps

any errors. When we tried to connect with an Android View client we received the following error. We have checked the certificate with this tool https://www.sslcertificaten.nl/SSLCheckĀ and all buttons https://communities.vmware.com/thread/496117?start=0&tstart=0 are green We discovered that the Android client did not have the root certificates installed (in this case verisign V3 root certificate) luckily you can ignore these errors and bypass it with settings in your android client. Second option is to install the root certificate of the vendor inside you certificate store on your android device. So http://www.it-gurus.nl/certificate-error-on-vmware-view-android-client/ you will have to check the vendor of these androids if the root is installed…..!
