Autodiscover Domain Com Certificate Error Exchange 2003
to vote Hello, There is an issue in our org with exchange certificates, users are getting a security alert for address: autodiscover.domain.com, the certificate outlook certificate error the name on the security certificate is invalid is ok and valid, but there is no server configured with this name. the url for autodiscover is: Get-ClientAccessServer -Identity CASSERVER | FL Name : EXCHFE OutlookAnywhereEnabled : False AutoDiscoverServiceCN autodiscover certificate error exchange 2013 : CASSERVER AutoDiscoverServiceClassName : ms-Exchange-AutoDiscover-Service AutoDiscoverServiceInternalUri : https://webmail.domain.com/autodiscover/autodiscover.xml AutoDiscoverServiceGuid : 77378f46-2c66-4aa9-a6a6-3e7a48b19596 The security warning fails for the name in the certificate. is there any way to verify the name of the autodiscover? is there a way to verify the source of this problem? why outlook goes to autodiscover.domain.com and not to webmail.domain.com? Either set the AutoDiscoverServiceInternalUri to $Null or change it to be the same as EXCHFE on the new servers. Personally I would set it to Null until the certificates and URL configuration is complete. Set-ClientAccessServer -Identity CAS10A -AutoDiscoverServiceInternalUri $NULL Set-ClientAccessServer -Identity CAS10B -AutoDiscoverServiceInternalUri $NULL Cheers, Steve Marked as answer by btasaf Sunday, February 05, 2012 9:03 AM Monday, January 30, 2012
