Making changes to your system BIOS can cause your computer to malfunction or become inoperable. If you are unsure how to make BIOS changes, don’t. Seek assistance from your system administrator or technician. If you are familiar with making changes to your BIOS, you may proceed with this section. To enter the system BIOS for most PC’s, you need to repeatedly click the “F1” or “Del” key on your keyboard as soon as you turn on your computer until it brings you to the system BIOS. If this does not bring you to your system BIOS, consult your motherboard manufacturer or system manufacturer for more information. Once inside of the system BIOS, search for the option “Assign IRQ to VGA”. Check that this option is enabled and then save these settings. Exit the system BIOS and boot back into Windows. The error code should be gone. Solutions: Graphics Cards | GRID

Did you do a clean OS install onto a formatted partition or did you install the OS ontop of the old one? What have you done regarding the network once the OS was up and what exactly have you tried to fix the problem? My current System:Mainboard: ASUS Z77-V, Disks: 2x256 GB Samsung 840 Pro as RAID0, Graphics: Intel HD4000, OS: Windows 8.1 Pro x64 reply go to top #3 | RE: nvidia nforce networking controller can't start (code 10) Tue Dec 03, 2013 8:41 pm paulo ( Guest ) Ok, I have had problem with the video ( black screen ) no video. I only have access to a wireless connection right now, so I have never tried my LAN before. I have recently bought a utp croosover cable to connect my two laptops to share some files. My laptop doesn't "see" the other device and I don't even have the LAN connection icon in Network Connections. I also tried to create a Homegroup and I have an error that IPv6 is not enabled. I tried updating the driver but it still doesn't work. In Device Manager there is a yellow exclamation mark in the Nvidia nForce Networking Controller field. If this means my Networking Controller is dead, what other options do I have? Thank a lot. Certifications: A+, MCP WIP: 70-680 crazy horse Byte Poster 199 15 24 Jul 4, 2010 #2 Oh man! As it has a yellow background with black exclamation point the device is in a problem state. The main cause of this I have found is a driver problem, but it could also be caused by a resource conflict. What OS are you using? Has the card ever worked since you have had the machine? I would check that you are using the right driver for the device and that it has been applied correctly. If you go into the devices properties and choose the driver tab it should list the details of the current driver applied - ensure this is correct for your card? Also if you click the resources tab does it list any conflicts? As the device is in a problem state it will not appear in the network connections, or not
