I only have access to a wireless connection right now, so I have never tried my LAN before. I have recently bought a utp croosover cable to connect my two laptops to share some files. My laptop doesn't "see" the other device and I don't even have the LAN connection icon in Network Connections. I also tried to create a Homegroup and I have an error that IPv6 is not enabled. I tried updating the driver but it still doesn't work. In Device Manager there is a yellow exclamation mark in the Nvidia nForce Networking Controller field. If this means my Networking Controller is dead, what other options do I have? Thank a lot. Certifications: A+, MCP WIP: 70-680 crazy horse Byte Poster 199 15 24 Jul 4, 2010 #2 Oh man! The main cause of this I have found is a driver problem, but it could also be caused by a resource conflict. What
