Install of XA6.5 on a fresh WS2008R2 build - fails every time Started by Gwyn Williams , 01 code 1603 June 2012 - 02:52 PM Login to Reply 14 replies to this topic Gwyn Williams Members #1 Gwyn Williams 384 posts Posted 01 June 2012 - 02:52 PM A fresh install of Windows Server 2008 R2, fully Windows Updated. I log in as a Domain Admin user (with no group policies running for the user or machine), and extract the XA 6.5 ISO that I downloaded off 1603 windows 7 Citrix site to a folder on the desktop. I then do a run as adminitrator on autorun.exe and tick the XenApp server role. This then installed the RD role, after which I had to reboot. After this I resumed the install. All the prerequisites install fine, as does the Application Server role. But I get "XenApp Server failed" after only a couple of seconds. In the bottom there is a 'View Log' button - please see attached log file for the contents of this. When I click Finish I get an error saying...'C:\Users\CTXAdmin\Desktop\XA6.5_2008R2_ML_1\XenApp Server Role Manager\Startup\StartupIndicator.exe' exited with error code 1603.Any ideas what might be wrong? Thanks.
