Update for Microsoft Visual C++ 2010 Redistributable Package (KB2467173). I have tried restarting, re installing .netframework 4, and downgrading to 3.5 then retrying. I have researched these errors and most of them are solved by re installing or downgrading then retrying but that hasnt worked for me. I did have a third party theme installed and used universal theme patcher. I restored the three patched files but still nothing works. I also have noticed when security update for microsoft visual c++ 2010 redistributable package (kb2467173) I apply a "stock" theme such as an aero theme my start orb doesnt change back to the original one. It i currently running Windows 7 Home Premium SP1 64 bit. When i try to update the machine, so i can install the godless browser known as Internet Explorer. It throws out 2 errors, which is #80070490 and #64C. I've tried to repair the system with a windows disk, and countless other methods from Microsoft sites, like System Update Readiness Tool, sfc /scannow, clearing the temp folder, and the like but to no avail. I have 8 updates in total that wont be installed, which is: KB2574819 KB2592687 KB2830477 KB2977218 KB3004375 KB3021952 KB3023562 KB3031432 I've seen that you need a few logs and the like from the other posts on the forum.
