where Java is already installed. For AIX, you need the IBM JDK. These kinds of JDKs are also not pre-packaged by Oracle. • Upgrade installer: Upgrade installers allow you to upgrade an existing WebLogic Server installation to the current patch release. For example, if you have WebLogic Server 10.3.0, 10.3.1, or 10.3.2 installed, you can use an upgrade installer to upgrade your installation to WebLogic Server 10.3.3. If a patch upgrade is available for your current WebLogic Server installation, you can download an upgrade installer from My Oracle Support. • Zip installer: It is mainly for developers. Installation modes to choose: - GUI mode: This requires a graphical environment.you have to have X-term client installed to avail this.In this case, you will have to forward the DISPLAY to your own PC. - Console mode: It is the same as the GUI mode but does not need a graphical environment. Installation is done through a text-based console. - Silent mode: You use this mode for scripted, automated installations.(my favorite when you have to install in 100's of servers) Oracle Weblogic GUI-based installation: Binary Installers: In this case, make it executable and run it: chmod +x wls1033_linux32.bin ./ wls1033_linux32.bin Generic Installers: Generic jar file: PATH=$JAVA_HOME/bin:$PATH export PATH java –jar wls

for the wisdom of the Perl Monks concerning the following question: I error code 65280 in informatica have perl script that is executed from a Application server using java on Windows 2003. my $zipExec='C:/zip.exe'; linux return code 65280 my @cmd = ($zipExec, "-rq", $destinationPath, "."); print "Executing command @cmd\n"; $syscode = system(@cmd); my $error = $!; print "Return code = $syscode \n"; print "Error = $error\n"; [download] http://www.techpaste.com/2011/12/steps-install-oracle-weblogic-application-server-11gr1/ It fails with the following error message. Return code = 65280 Error = No such file or directory I have ensured that C:/zip.exe files exists and is executable. I tried executing other system binaries like cmd.exe but ran into the same issue. My question is what could be causing this issue like i. some environment setting is wrong http://www.perlmonks.org/?node_id=1034752 and interfering with the system api and hence it is not able to load the binary. ii. The $PATH variable in this environment is greater than 1024 characters. Is the length of this variable a concern or some paths set in this variable is causing this issue thanks, PrakashComment on system perl api fails with exit code 65280 on Win 2003Download Code Replies are listed 'Best First'. However, when I try to install it, I run into a problem. I notice that the .bin file is trying to extract itself to the /tmp directory and then execute something from within error code 65280 the /tmp dir. However, for security purposes, my /tmp dir is a non-executable mount. Consequently, when I try to extract/install JRockit, I justly get the following error: sh: jre150_12/bin/java: Permission denied ** Error during execution, error code = 32256. How can I control the extraction point of the .bin file? Is there a command line setting that I can use? Thanks, Eric 3654Views Tags: none (add) This content has been marked as final. Inside, you will find a zip archive that can be extracted to create the JRockit installation directory structure. There are also 3rd party distributions of JRockit repackaged in RPM format available on the web. -- Henrik Like Show 0 Likes(0) Actions 2. Re: Can't install
