The error message says: please make sure you have DirectX 8.1 or higher installed. Also verify that your video card meets the minimum requirements. Minimum requirements on back of box (Command and Conquer The First Decade) are: OS: Win XP Cpu: 800 Mhz or faster RAM: 256 MB or more which is what i used to have. Disc Drive: 8X or faster DVD-ROM drive. Hard Drive: 9.8 GB if installing all games. Have plenty of space. Video: DirectX 8.1 compatible video card. Sound: DirectX 8.1 compatible sound card. I suggest you take a clean boot to test if it is a software conflict issue. 1. Click Start, type "MSCONFIG" (without the quotations) in the Search Bar and Press "Enter" to start the System Configuration Utility. 2. Click the "Services" tab, check the "Hide All Microsoft Services" box and click "Disable All" (i
