not understood issue !! Quote Postby progroup » Tue Apr 22, 2008 2:07 pm Hi, When I try to connect with FileZilla to Cerberus FTP ftp command list with TLS/SSL, I keep getting this responce. Commando: AUTH TLS Answer: 500 Command not understood. Commando: AUTH SSL Answer: 500 Command not understood. The FTP is behind a D-Link DFL1100 with port forwards to the local adres on the LAN https://community.hpe.com/t5/Languages-and-Scripting/ftp-error-500-command-not-understood/td-p/5678621 for: FTP passthrough=21 FTPS= 989 Cerberus pasv = 11000-12000 When I first build a VPN to the other network it all works fine and certificate is presented, but through the D-link firewall keep getting simular responces. Also added the Cerberus program to the Windows firewall on the machine and opened ports 21 and 989 there. Not opened the ports 11000 till 12000 yet on the windows firewall but as far as I now that won´t be neccesery or am I https://www.cerberusftp.com/phpBB3/viewtopic.php?t=2133 mistaken here. If so is there a way to add them all at once instead off all seperatly. Can anyone help me where it might go wrong here !! That would be much appreciated. You DO need to forward 11000-12000 as well! They are not needed while logging in, so that is not the cause of your first problem, but for passive connections to work for actually transfering files, you do need them. Don't know how to add them all at once in the WFW though, I guess the easiest is to simply allow Cerberus unlimited access, perhaps?
