It's only relevant within your local network. Showing it makes no difference as lot of other people have same address within their local network. It's the public IP address (the one that you can see using http://whatsmyip.org ) that you might not want to reveal. I'm really not sure what's wrong here. Even with firewall enabled something is blocking the connection (otherwise request from iPhone Safari would work). You can try restarting your router (beware that your computer's IP address might change after the router restarts). 03/22/2010 02:59:00 Subject: Re:Communication Error billyfern Joined: 03/21/2010 19:30:30 Messages: 12 Offline One other thing which i have not touched or mentioned is i use a program "Little Snitch" which checks on in/out activity and gives you choices to deny/allow connection - As far as i can work it out, it should not be causing a problem, unless i set a rule to deny, or click deny in the dialogue box. I've bad experience with little snitch. It often blocks connection even if it was supposed to let it pass. Still no joy, The iPhone sees my computer when i enter my ip address into the "Specify Address Manually" but will not load. Unresolved when i enter the "This Server Pin:#" (this did work when i initially used the app if my memory serves me well - actually my memory could be clouded b

Yeah, the above screenshot will only actively forward ports to that static IP address, 192.168.0.12 If the iPad uses dynamic IP address, it will not work. Try getting the iPad IP address by going to communication error with the LANIP page, looking at "DHCP Client Lease Info", match up the iPad's MAC address to see the correct IP address. Then enter the correct IP in for forwarding. I am thinking it does not support UPnP or NAT-PMP? It does, yet the CG814WG, is still a horror unit. Keep us updated, and let us know how it goes.
