On another machine it won't run and gives a https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/kb/241709 "Compile Error: Can't find project or library". Normally when this happens I think no problems, just a typical installation of access, go into set up and select the whole of access, install and then all works fine. But not in this case, and it is not just limited to one machine, its lots i can't get it to run on. The error is thrown up because i have used the format command format(100,"0") and also the mid or right functions. http://www.dbforums.com/showthread.php?560209-Access-97-Compile-Error Any ideas which library is missing and how i install it ? Go to the Modules tab. Either open New or an existing module. Go to Tools > References and see if any items are marked "MISSING". If so uncheck those items. I think you need to make sure that a reference to Microsoft DAO 3.5 object library is checked.
