Configuration System Failed To Initialize In Windows Application

Etc. EDIT: SOLVED. How to fix the problem, for me: "-Exit Steam, then go to the location that Steam is installed to. By default this is C:\Program Files\Steam directory (this is the default https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gjuipNx76uI with a Steam installation - if you set a different installation directory, you will need to browse to it). -Delete all of the files except for: Steam.exe And the folder \SteamApps\ -Restart your computer and test the issue." I was told that by Steam support, tried it and it worked. I hope this helps you in time! "There seems to have been an error initializing or updating your transaction. Please wait a minute and try again or contact support for http://forums.steampowered.com/forums/showthread.php?t=2801335 assistance." This is the message I receive when trying to purchase any Steam game. I've confirmed that restarting Steam doesn't affect the problem. I've confirmed that trying to repurchase the game in a browser instead of through Steam itself doesn't affect the problem. I've confirmed that the error isn't with purchasing one specific game as a gift, but with purchasing *any* game as a gift, even after clearing my cart, both in a browser and through Steam. I've confirmed that resetting my modem, router and computer doesn't affect the problem. I've confirmed that the problem doesn't have to do with using PayPal to pay for it, since using a debit card results in exactly the same problem. Steam support's response: "Our records indicate that this transaction is pending. Please allow an hour or two for it to try to settle (normally this is instantaneous). If it still isn't working, try your purchase again." I've now allowed 11+ hours. Still no luck. "If using PayPal as your payment method, make sure that you hit the "Return to Merchant" button after you have finished filling in your billing information. Do not press your back button." Impossible advice to follow, since I can't even get up to that screen. The "There seems to have been an error initializing or updating your transaction. Please wait a minute and try again or contact support for assistance." message blocks me just before reaching th

If I click ok I get the information I attach to this post as a file. Could this be due to my system https://support-maplestory.nexon.net/hc/en-us/articles/208942826-I-am-receiving-an-NGS-Initialization-Error (windows or browser) configuration? articulate+presenter+error+info.rtf 5.1 KB Reply Quote Flag over 5 years ago03/01/11 at 5:04 pm (UTC) 9 Replies Brian Batt Staff over 5 years ago03/02/11 at 7:22 am configuration system (UTC) Hi Alfonso & welcome to Heroes, If your LMS is configured to launch course content in a new browser window and if you also set the player template for your Presenter ‘09 presentation to launch in a new browser window, you may encounter an LMS communication error. You can correct this. Here's how: http://www.articulate.com/support/presenter09/kb/?p=2002 Reply Quote Flag Mark as configuration system failed Helpful (0) Bookmark Louise Hawkins over 5 years ago06/01/11 at 3:03 am (UTC) I've also been having this problem with some students receiving this error message when trying to launch courses on our LMS (example below - I removed the URL, it doesn't say that!).Player Template already has the 'Launch presentation in new window (creates launch page)' box unchecked. Presentation is published to SCORM 1.2.As a standard we ask students to ensure they have the latest Flash/Java versions installed, and clearing their cache tends to work for minor launch problems, but this message seems to keep making an appearance. Our LMS administrators suggested resetting their score and asking them to try again, but still doesn't seem to clear the problem. What does this message mean?!Thanks!Louise0:Tue May 31 2011 12:19:32 GMT+0100 (GMT DaylightTime) - AICCComm - Trying to create XMLHttpRequest in JavaScript1.51:Tue May 31 2011 12:19:32 GMT+0100 (GMTDaylight Time) - AICCComm - Entered browser conditional2:Tue May 31 2011 12:19:32 GMT+0100 (GMT DaylightTime) - AICCComm - Creating object3:Tue May 31 2011 12:19:32 GMT+0100 (GMTDaylight Time) - AICCComm - intReCheckLoadedInterval=2504:Tue May 3
detecting MapleStory as a possible threat to your computer. It's possible that your computers security system (anti-virus or anti-malware programs) are interacting with HackShield and BlackCipher, and removing files. This will cause the game to crash. There are generally two ways to fix this: Add the MapleStory folder to the exceptions or safe “white list” on your computers security program. This will prevent it from deleting files from HackShield and BlackCipher. You can replace the missing files by downloading the manual patch for HackShield and BlackCipher and applying it. However with option two your computer security system may still delete specific HackShield and BlackCipher files in which case see option one. Additionally, we are able to confirm that a majority of the of the NGS errors are coming from AVG Antivirus Security. In order to be able to resolve this issue, please follow the directions below. We would also suggest adding MapleStory to Exceptions list also located in your settings page. This may help in resolving the issue that you are facing. If you use Norton SONAR and have gotten this error please follow these steps: 1. Open Norton.2. Click on "settings" at the top.3. Click on "antivirus". 4. Under SONAR advanced mode, the "Remove risks automatically" option is default set to "high-certainty only"5. You can change this to "ask me" by clicking on it.6. Click "apply". We would also like to recommend that you make sure that your computer has all available updates. Please follow the steps provided below. Click the Windows "Start" button, then select Settings - (Control Panel if on Windows 7 or older) > Update & security (System if on Windows 7 or older)> Windows Update > Check for updates. Make sure that you download all available updates (if any) on your computer.
