Hi, I've been having an Exchange sync error but don't how to find more dettails of the actual error, was working fine until yesterday and am told nothing has changwed on the serverside. the error I get is "Sync

Removing the account and adding it again sorted the problem for about a day. A hard reset meant that the problem went away for over 2 days! This work around doesn't work for me. When I go to Settings > Accounts & Sync > Exchange ActiveSync and do sync now, it shows exclamation mark besides the sync icon. Anyone having similar issues? Unable To Connect To Email Server On Samsung Galaxy S5

However, I'm now trying to set up a new Samsung Galaxy S III and cannot get it to work. android exchange cannot connect to server I put in all of the requested info but it then gives me an error. If I have SSL unchecked, it gives the error "Incorrect server address entered or server requires a protocol version http://androidforums.com/threads/exchange-sync-error.74275/ not supported by Email" If I check SSL (without client certificates) then I get the error "Server requires security features that your devices does not support, including" I've looked around on Google and looked at several How-To articles on here but have not been able to get it to go. Any ideas what else to try? A quick google found some issue with this phone connecting to Exchange over wifi. This tool can be downloaded here: Download details: Microsoft Exchange Server ActiveSync Web Administration Tool Download and run the file on your Exchange Server to install the tool. There are instructions on how to use the tool in the unzipped folder, but if all you're looking for is a quick fix to the above then follow these steps: Open Internet Explorer: https://localhost/MobileAdmin, sign in using the admin account for the Exchange Server Once signed in, click on the Remote Wipe link, enter the username of the user whose phone is acting up and click the green arrow You get a list of mobile phone associations. In my case there were alot of old ones. Delete them all and then have the user Re-Sync his phone. A new association should appear after syncing. NOTE: This process will wipe out the Inbox and then redownload emails for whatever time period you selected. Option 2: Delete the Exchange Account off the phone and re-add it.
