But backup of a linux client is not working got this error message "Warning: bsock.c:129 Could not connect to Client: Wiki on 192.168.xxx.xxx:9102. ERR=Connection refused" Got a Firewall with Shorewall on it. I did put a rule allow bacula server to connect on client as i did for the http://www.backupcentral.com/phpBB2/two-way-mirrors-of-external-mailing-lists-3/bacula-25/can-t-connect-to-linux-client-on-port-9102-117070/ windows client but it's not working. Any clue ? I would bet that the Linux box isn't listening for the connection. telnet 192.168.xxx.xxx 9101 telnet 192.168.xxx.xxx 9102 telnet 192.168.xxx.xxx 9103 If the directed telnet fails, check the /etc/services file for ports 9101, 9102 and 9103 on the machine that generated the error. add these lines to the /etc/services file and restart the inetd daemon. bacula-dir 9101/tcp # Bacula Director bacula-dir 9101/udp bacula-fd 9102/tcp # Bacula File Daemon bacula-fd 9102/udp bacula-sd 9103/tcp # Bacula Storage Daemon bacula-sd 9103/udp I hope that helps.
