Printer Error 0x00000002 - Windows Cannot Connect to Printer Started by Jon Wong , 12 October 2012 connect to - 05:29 PM Login to Reply 3 replies to this topic Jon Wong Members #1 Jon Wong 19 posts Posted 12 October 2012 - 05:29 PM Hey guys,I wanted to get a discussion going on an error I've seen crop up in three different builds I've done pertaining to Session Printers in XenApp 6.0/6.5. Two of these builds are using confirmed a single RDS/Citrix compatible driver only.Typically printer operation failed users will complain about not seeing their printers on what turns out to be isolated to a single server; looking at the event logs the Citrix Print Manager Service fails connecting to the network printer. I'll log onto the server affected and browse to the print server \\printserver, look up the printer they have an issue with, right click it and select "Connect" and the attached error will come up.If you try it on a another server in the farm that is working, the printer will connect. Now sometimes, and I do stress sometimes I restart the Citrix Print Manager Service and it goes back to normal. Other times I need to restart the Print Spooler as well. Other times I need to reboot the server entirely.I wanted to see if anyone else has come across this and who/what ended up resolving this issue. I've opened tickets with Microsoft, Citrix and even HP (as one client was HP heavy) and the cross finger pointing game starts.Has anyone else seen this? Overcome this? I'd like to hear from you.Thanks,PS. The current build I'm working on had this happen this morning; XenApp 6.5 with R01 and all the latest AppCent
