Please, could you help me ?? broker asked Oct 18 '12 at 01:23 sergio 1●2●2●2 4 Answers: oldestnewestmost voted 1 Hello, we can try something like: 1) Delete that /tmp/ssh-SZ4H5T/ directory https://answers.ssh.com/questions/3196/broker-failed-error 2) Kill existing ssh-broker-g3 process (if running): Broker process specific to that USERID with the problem! - do not kill other users' broker processes, only that one specific one (if running)! 3) Ask user to rerun the job The new client Broker process will re-create a new /tmp/ directory structure. It can be that the system was upgraded, and the user still has old broker process version (i.e. broker in daemon mode) running. I mean, what is the command to find the ssh-broker-g3 process ?? link answered Oct 18 '12 at 06:10 sergio 1●2●2●2 0 If you have an OMVS shell, or direct access to USS via SSH, you could try this one: ps --user samim |grep ssh-broker-g3 Replace "samim" with the real user account name, and check if the command returns a running broker process for that user. If you will see a broker process running for that user, you can terminate the process by executing: kill -9
to launch either the sftp or ssh client, I get a broker error message that says "SSH broker is not running, please start broker first". Isn't the broker supposed to launch automatically? Is https://answers.ssh.com/questions/137/connection-broker-not-starting-up there something I can set to make that happen? thanks broker startup asked Jul 15 '10 at 17:35 Martina 1 One Answer: oldestnewestmost voted 0 Hi Martina, That's odd. Indeed the connection broker should http://switifacerad.3d-game.com/broker-error-373.php be launched automatically after user login. You can verify this by opening up task manager. There should be a process called ssh-broker-gui.exe Are you still seeing this after a system reboot? If so, do you connect to see any errors in the windows application event log? In case this is a problem with a previous configuration, could you try renaming the ssh broker configuration file so that it starts with the default configuration and try again? The broker configuration can be found under: %APPDATA%\SSH\ssh-broker-config.xml link answered Aug 06 '10 at 10:16 Roman ♦♦ 773●5●8●17 Your answer toggle preview community wiki Follow this questionBy Email:Once you sign in connect to broker you will be able to subscribe for any updates hereBy RSS: Answers Answers and Comments Markdown Basics *italic* or __italic__ **bold** or __bold__ link:[text](http://url.com/ "title") image?![alt text](/path/img.jpg "title") numbered list: 1.
