Cannot Connect To Peachtree Database On Network

Peachtree windows could not start the pervasive psql workgroup engine on local computer Coplete 2007 runs fine on main computer (where database is stored). Second computer cannot open Peachtree. Error message "Peachtree is unable to connect to its database, Pervasive, on computer [XXXX]. Make sure the computer is logged in or that the database service is running. Also make sure the firewall is set to allow Peachtree and Pervasive to run…"The help suggests that this is either a drive mapped to peachtree ini file location the wrong location or to an IP address instead of a drive letter, or it is a firewall problem. I am mapped correctly and I am behind the same Windows firewall which allows first computer to run. The error does not go away when you turn firewall off on one or both computers. I uninstalled and reinstalled Peachtree on both machines to no avail.Does anybody know how I fix this? If you've never done one before, Click Start->Programs->Accessories->System Tools->System Restore. Choose to restore to a previous day. You'll see a calendar of dates. Choose a day 2 days prior to when the issue started with Peach Tree and start the restore. The computer will restart during this process. After it restarts and loads your profile, you'll receive a notification that the restore is complete. Try the Peach Tree Software again. My O/S is Vista (Home Premium), I am unable to make the SmartPosting run, connect to everytime I try to start the process within Peachtree it results in pop-up error message, which also states to the start process throgh the Windows Services Console. In Windows Services Console, Peachtree SmartPosting : status- starting, method - automatic. Even if I attempt to start the service manually it results in another pop-up message cannot connect to like "some services may be stopped when not in use.................". It never starts either automatically or manually, status remains "starting".
