#2 The Asterisk process has stopped running. Try restarting with 'amportal restat' command You told us nothing about your system, FreePBX is a web interface for Asterisk. It can be installed asterisk cdr mysql on many types of systems so hard to tell anything specific without more info. kiwi89 2012-10-11 06:15:11 UTC #3 Thank for your reply. Sorry I am a newbie for Asterisk. What kind of system information I need to provide to u? I am currently running Asterisk with CentOS 5. What else information I should provide? SkykingOH 2012-10-11 06:21:45 UTC #4 FreePBX and reload failed because retrieve_conf encountered an error: 1 Asterisk version at a minimum. Anyway, log into the console (shell) and type the command 'amportal restart' If you get any errors cut and paste them into this message thread. kiwi89 2012-10-11 06:29:24 UTC #5 I am running Asterisk 1.4.26 and FreePBX 2.5.1.5 I paste "amportal restart" in terminal, but no error occur. but when i login to FreePBx again, its indicate problem Here i attached the screenshot http://s12.postimage.org/kuv1ln3h9/Screenshot_from_2012_10_11_14_26_45.png Thank you so much for helping SkykingOH 2012-10-11 08:06:05 UTC #6 You have to run from a terminal session, This can be done in a terminal session. Either from a console attached to the server or from your pc using putty. Once you have acces you can run the am portal restart command. johnjces (John Jarrett) 2012-10-11 14:36:42 UTC #7 Reboot? SkykingOH 2012-10-11 17:06:09 UTC #8 Rebooting is not a troubleshooting step. Amportal will tell us if asterisk is starting or not and why. I can't think of a single good reason to restart a Linux box. I have machines with years of uptime [vg2.xxx.net ~]# uptime 13:05:37 up 783 days, 13:04, 1 us
and nothing seems to fix it. The service was restarted and seems fine. I'm not exactly sure where else to http://community.freepbx.org/t/asterisk-server-status-error/15452 check to fix this problem.
