a black screen and the message (Could not find any compatible direct3D directx devices) when I hit "OK" it gives me another Message (DUXT createdevice failed) they the game stays black till it crashes. I have a AMD Radeon HD 6950 video card and 6 months ago I had a Nvidia. I got rid of it and got https://steamcommunity.com/app/233680/discussions/3/558752451206155638/ all the software so I don't think it would be the problem. Now I did some homework and I have tried deleting the (production_config.ini) and retried and that didn't work. I made sure my drivers where up to date and my card supports everything it needs to run the game. I also made sure windows was updated, I https://www.pathofexile.com/forum/view-thread/72892 tried cleaning up my comp with ccleaner, and I made sure that I have direct x9. I re-installed after all of that and it still giving me the same error? My brother with the same video card gave me this display settings in (production_config.ini) to see if I could just past (adapter_name=AMD Radeon HD 6900 Series (#0)) but that also didn't work. Solved: I re-installed my video drivers completely and it fix it! I have a Dell Precision 340 Pentium 4 with a 1.5 GHz processor, 512 MB RAM, Windows XP with SP3, Directx 9.0c, and an NVIDIA GeForce4 MX4000 AGP video card. I have Artemis v1.702 loaded; and I keep getting the above error message. Here's what I've done so far:1) Updated the video driver2) Run 3D Analyze, with different settings (keep getting a small green screen)3) Reformatted the hard drive and re-installed all drivers4) Updated Directx5) Performed an exorcism ceremony6) Run a level 1 diagnostic, then ejected the core7) Stuck pins in a small voodoo doll likeness of the computer8) Placed 10 lb sledge hammer in front of computer as a warningHave I missed anything? I know this system ought to be able to run Artemis; but, I've run out of options (except for carrying out #8). Thanks for any advice you can give me. The GeForce4 MX 4000AGP only supports Direct3D 7.0 and 8.0a as well as only having Vertex Shader 1.1 and Pixel Shader 1.3 s
