I seached the forums and see that others posted this questions with no real answers. Telling someone "no one uses EPS format anymore" lives in a narrow world. PS CS3 has the option to open AI files so untill the option is removed or Adobe can explain the limatations it should open the file. If the file could not parse is incorrect I would just like more info on the "what, where, etc" of the error. Now for the problem. I can open the AI file in Illy CS4 with no messages, if I then save as AI (CS3 version) from Illy I'm able to open the file in PS CS3. So this gives me the thought that the original AI has some kind of command error layout. It was created in a 3rd party product and what I'm looking for is more information of where the error occured (command, section, etc). Is this possible. Thanks in advance I have the same question Show 0 Likes(0) 2127Views Tags: none (add) This content has been marked as final. Show 9 replies 1. Because of this:It was created in a 3rd party productIf that's true, then it has probably no PDF content as effectively that is what PS uses. Only AI itself can interpret the data then and when you safe from there, the PDF chunks are crea
