What procedure and settings are you using? Supply as many details as possible. Place the CD you attempted to create in your recorder, and launch Nero and go to Recorder>Choose Recorder. If the session is not properly closed on the CD, you will get two buttons in the bottom left corner of the window that comes up. One will say 'Close Session' and the other 'Close Disc'. Use Close Disc if you do not plan on writing to the CD again, or Close session if you do. WinXp is your problem, disable "IMAPI CD-Burning COM Service" (quick search in google, btw) supposedly, XP tries to access the CD before nero finishes burning, hence, BOOM POW CRASH BAM, stuff. #6 Mday,

Exactly which version of Nero 7 are you using? If you open Nero StartSmart and then double click the word Nero in the top left corner of the window, it will open Nero ProductSetup and you can see the version number of Nero Burning Rom, for example 7.8.5.0 The latest version is 7.9.6.0 Some earlier versions are known to have caused issues in Vista "The great majority of mankind are satisfied with appearances, as though they were realities, and are often more influenced by the things that seem than by those that are." - Niccolo Machiavelli Grav!ty Profile PROfessional Member Posts: 15790Joined: Tue Sep 14, 2004 5:22 am Real Name: Graham Top by karam410 » Sat Jun 16, 2007 11:01 pm Grav!ty wrote:Hi and welcome to PROnetworks Kara.
