XP LinkBack Thread Tools Display Modes 06-10-2009, 08:30 PM #1 God-Follower Guest Posts: n/a Internet Connectivity Issue After my computer has remained on for around 48-72 hours, it loses all internet connectivity, both in IE and in Outlook, along with all other programs. Prior to that time, it works fine. If I reboot, it goes back to working fine for that period of time. I have noticed I can shorten or lengthen the time that it remains active by what programs I launch, primarly AIM and iTunes. If I do not use either of those, it can stay up for around 4 days, if I use them both it goes down to 2 days. Around 2-3 months ago my computer began to do this. I have been troubleshooting on and off since then, but since it was not to any extreem yet I was not too concerned. However, recently the problem has been progressing. It started with it doing this around every 7 days, so I could live with it. However, I do not like rebooting my computer every other day, so I am hoping to resolve this. System information in this picture: http://i219.photobucket.com/albums/c...puterSpecs.jpg I connect to the internet via Cable, and I am connected to my home network via Ethernet. However, it does not appear to be a TCP/IP issue, because internal communications are still accessible. My network icon remains in the tray, and it shows data movement when I use the internal network. I have tried repairing the problem using Windows built-in diagnostics, to no avail. Here is the results of Internet Explorer's diagnostic program, copied from the log file(picture of results below). Hopefully BBcode works on this site, or else this will be long.
