I was using a friend's PC and he hadn't updated in a while and the update would always crash when trying to do the last 200mb, turns out he ran out of disk space and freeing some up let the game update and run just fine. X-Gamer For some reason it would open up and then shut right off. So I uninstalled it and put Word 97 back in. cryptic error message I then noticed that when I saved a document it would place a hidden file in the same folder with the same name and a ~after it. Then today I put in DII and just like every other game that is set to 800x600 or whatever low resolution it is, my computer messed up. It changes the res. on the desktop and the program exits. Then I have to start the program again and when I finish I can't change the resolution on my desktop back to normal because I get an error. So I have to reboot. This time when I rebooted though something messed up. It went into Power Quest Boot Magic and then it brought up the Windows98 logo screen. However, it stayed at the screen for longer than normal and then went into a Dos window and said that it couldn't load up Win98 or MSDOS and gave me 3 prompts like: c:\>garblegarblegarble garble c:\> c:\> I turned off the computer and tried again and got the same problem.
