In addition, A newer version of Crystal Reports, version 10, is currently available but produces report formats that cannot be read by the CR8.5 version shipped with Atrex. Unfortunately, Atrex is incompatible with Crystal Reports 10. There are two possible solutions to this issue if you are using Crystal Reports 9. 1. Install the runtime components for CR9 onto the query engine error 42000 crystal report systems that need to print CR9 modified reports. The files and requirements for the runtime component installation of CR9 can be found in the Crystal Reports documentation or from Crystal Decisions technical support. 2. Install the full CR9 product on each system that will print from Atrex, and then manually delete the report designer components to ensure that you are within the licensing requirements for the CR product. If you choose this option, make sure that you remove any program links to the main CR designer or you will be prompted to repair the install if the links are clicked. Regardless of the option selected above, care must be taken to ensure that the BDE driver is installed on the systems as it is not part of the standard CR installation. Unforunately there is no solution to this issue if you are using Crystal Reports 10 as all versions of Atrex are incompatible with Crystal Reports 10.
