So, I enabled 'Detailed Errors' in the Feature Settings of Error Pages and set 'Send Errors To Browser' to True in the ASP Debugging Properties. This works fine.If an error occurs, I see the good old classic ASP error on screen. The problem is that the site also uses https://forums.iis.net/t/1163748.aspx?Problem+with+classic+ASP+and+custom+errors a custom 404 page wich is styled to fit the site. This 404 page also catches non-existing images and shows a 'no image available'-image instead. So the 404 page is actually a part of the whole site framework. With Detailed Errors turned on, I cant seem to enable my site to use my custom 404 page anymore. Is it at all possible to show detailed errors and use custom error pages at the same time with IIS 7 and classic ASP sites? If not, whats the best way to go about this then? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Additionally, the old ASP errors are recorded in the IIS log. Please mark the replies as answers if they help or unmark if not.
